Here's a tip from Wine Folly:How Long opened Red Wine will last? 3–5 days in a cool, dark place with a cork. The more tannin and acidity the red wine has, the longer it lasts after opening. So, a light red with very little tannin, such as Pinot Noir, won’t last open as long as a rich red like Petite Syrah. Some wines will even improve after the first day of opening. Store open red wines in a chiller or a dark, cool place after opening them. If you don’t have a chiller, your fridge is the next best.

🎨 Pottery Demonstration & Artist Meet-and-Greet

Join us at Rich Harvest Winery for a unique afternoon of art and craftsmanship. We are thrilled to feature Wes Galusha of Crescent Moon Pottery, a master potter whose journey spans from an apprenticeship in England to teaching at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Live Demonstration:
Starting at 2:00 PM, Wes will be at his wheel, demonstrating the intricate process of “throwing” clay. Watch a raw lump of earth transform into functional art right before your eyes! He will be sharing insights into:

*The Process: How he creates his unique, hand-developed glazes.

*The Philosophy: Why he ignores passing trends in favor of timeless, durable beauty.

*The Connection: How every cup and bowl is designed to forge a relationship between the maker and the owner.

What to Expect:

*Functional Art: A selection of beautifully crafted pieces will be available for purchase—perfect for your daily use or a thoughtful gift.

*Q&A: Ask Wes about his techniques, his time in England, or his work at Crescent Moon Pottery.

*Winery Atmosphere: Sip on your favorite Rich Harvest wine while you enjoy the demo!

Come meet Wes, watch the ancient tradition of pottery come to life, and find your next favorite piece for your home.
